When it comes to Electric vehicles, especially two-wheelers, are becoming more popular in India, and Ather Energy is one of the top brands known for its great performance and reliability. A common question from people is about the battery’s lifespan and whether it can handle long-term use. To answer this, we decided to test our Ather 450 after it ran for an amazing 94,578.1 kilometers.
We took our beloved Ather 450, which has been on the roads for over four years, and conducting an extensive range test on Bangalore’s busy traffic roads. Our goal was to see how well the Ather 450 performs and give range after so much use.
After charging the Ather 450 fully, we set out on a city ride, mostly in Eco mode(75 Range), navigating through traffic.
To our surprise, the scooter reached 75 km with 15% of the battery still left.
We continued riding until the battery finally hit zero.
What blew us away even more was the scooter’s ability to keep running for another 1.6 km after the battery percentage hit 0%. The total distance covered during the test was a jaw-dropping 86.9 km!
This test proved that even after 94,000 km and years of usage, the Ather 450’s battery and performance are far from disappointing. The scooter continues to deliver outstanding range and durability, leaving all our expectations crushed!
