ISRO Launch Witness Program
This program allows visitors to view live satellite launches from a specially designated Viewing Gallery at Sriharikota.

- Large screens are also installed to explain the various stages of the launch, including pre- and post-launch activities, along with details of the launcher and satellites.
How to Register for the ISRO Launch Witness Program?
Follow these steps to register:
- Visit the Official Website
- Register at ISRO’s Viewer Registration Page.
- Note: Registrations open only closer to the scheduled launch dates. Keep an eye on ISRO’s website and social media handles for updates.
- Enter Primary Member Details
- Once registration opens, fill in the primary member’s details.
- Add Visitor Details
- Add additional members (friends or family) with their ID details within 3 hours of registering. If this step isn’t completed, the slots will be released back into the pool.
- Carry Valid IDs
- Ensure that the IDs entered during registration match the ones you’ll carry on the day of the event. Security checks will verify this information.
- Download Your Pass
- After successful registration, ISRO issues a pass immediately. This pass contains details of all visitors, their IDs, and the check-in time. Print the pass and keep it handy.
Is There Any Fee?
No! The program is completely free of cost. ISRO does not charge any fee for registration or entry to the Viewing Gallery.

- One-Way Distance: ~350 km
- Bangalore (Hoskote Toll) → Tirupati: 3.5–4 hours
- Tirupati → Sriharikota: ~2 hours
Bus Options:
- Direct KSRTC buses are available from Bangalore to Sriharikota.
- Alternatively, take a bus to Tirupati and then connect to Sullurpeta (buses are available every 30 minutes).
